John
and Barbara McFarlane invite you to
stay at their very comfortable three-star
bed and breakfast that's five minutes
walk from the village, and a five
minute drive to the sea.
Fleet Farmhouse is situated in three
acres of woodland garden, overlooking
River Fleet to the Western hills.
A golf and tennis
club is close by.
There are two ground-floor rooms available
for you to use, each with two single
beds, and these are bookable between
Easter and October each year. Both rooms
have a wash-hand basin, double glazing
-- and the house is centrally heated.
One bedroom has a bath with overhead
shower; the second bedroom has a shower
room. Both are a few steps across the
corridor.
A sitting room with television is available
for guests, as is use of the summer
house and woodland garden.
Vegetarian diets
catered for; tea/coffee-making facilities
are in both rooms; heating throughout
the house; an iron and hairdryer are
available to use; no smoking in the
house; pets are accepted by arrangement.
Rates (per person
per night): £30-£33 (single),
£27.50-£30 (twin)

"This is a wonderful place to come
and relax. I am biased as John and
Barbara are my in-laws, but the rooms
you will rent are the ones which my
wife Catherine, our sons Toby and Felix and I
sleep in when we go up to visit. And
the view from the bedrooms is simply
breathtaking. I can thoroughly recommend
this delightful house in its perfect
setting." -- Chris Payne, LifeTools
