Writes Chris Payne, MD at LifeTools...
All the graphic design at LifeTools is done by Wendy Barratt, who I've worked since 1990. When I was MD at Europress Software I needed a really good designer to create the packaging for a new product we were launching called Fun School 2. I rang a friend called Rachel Quesnel, and she recommended Wendy.
Wendy's stunning packaging helped us sell over half a million copies of the Fun School range over the next couple of years. (Fun School has since gone on to sell 1.5 million copies worldwide.)
 When I set up LifeTools in 1993 I brought in Wendy again.

| Wendy now lives and works in Brighton, England, and does all her work via email. I, and her other clients, email her with copy, and she does a design and sends it back the same day or up to 48 hours later, in PDF format. I then make comments, and once it's finished the Quark Xpress document and image files are emailed to Wheatsheaf Press in Wilmslow, Cheshire, or to the North East Mailing Centre if the files are very large. |
